The Geshe degree is the highest level of training in the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism.

This year, nine nuns graduated with the Geshema degree from Jamyang Choling Institute. To celebrate this momentous occasion, a Geshema Damcha debate ceremony was held in the new debate hall on 21st and 22nd February.
