On Saturday, 23rd October 2026, a Yangdrub (Prosperity Accomplishment) ritual will be conducted at Jamyang Choling Institute. This auspicious ritual is performed annually to invoke prosperity, long life, virtue, good fortune, and favourable conditions. Among the principal deities included in the prayer are White Mahakala (Mgon Dkar) and Vaiśravaṇa (Namthöse).
White Mahakala, with his distinctive snow-white appearance, symbolises purity, compassion, transformation, and pacification. His white colour represents the cleansing of negative karma and the peaceful, nurturing expression of enlightened energy. As a wealth-protecting deity, White Mahakala is associated with abundance, support, and the removal of obstacles, helping to create favourable conditions for spiritual practice and well-being.
